Investor Caddo Holdings is hanging onto its Uptown Dallas office buildings

Just a few months after it put the properties up for sale, Dallas investor Caddo Holdings has decided not to sell its three Uptown office buildings.

The Uptown buildings were purchased in late 2011 and are the 7-story Crosstex Energy building at 2501 Cedar Springs, the five-story 3400 Carlisle building on Lemmon Avenue and the three-story 2811 McKinney building near the Quadrangle.

Caddo Holdings partner Dustin Schilling confirms that the investor has decided to refinance the buildings instead.

Caddo Holdings just sold its  2-building Lakewood Towers office complex on Gaston Avenue in East Dallas. It acquired by Houston-based Highland Resources Inc. — a property investment and energy firm owned by the family that founded Brown & Root and Texas Eastern Corp.
