Investor Caddo Holdings adds to Stemmons corridor properties

Investor Caddo Holdings has added to its holdings in Dallas’ Stemmons Freeway corridor.

The commercial real estate firm last month purchased the two-building Mockingbird Towers on Mockingbird Lane between Stemmons and Love Field.

Now an affiliate of Caddo has acquired a 2-building, 205,000-square-foot office and industrial complex near the Dallas Design District on the banks of the Trinity River.

The Quaker Court property near Irving Boulevard and Quaker Street was acquired from Jim Lake Cos.

“We now own just under 500,000 square feet in Brookhollow and the Trinity / Design District areas and are actively pursuing additional acquisitions,” Tim Slaughter, a managing partner at Caddo Holdings, said in a statement.

Caddo plans to upgrade the buildings and hunt for tenants looking for space close to the Design District.

Texas Capital Bank provided debt for the deal in a transaction arranged by Jeremy Sain of HFF.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
