Caddo Holdings was formed by Justin Engler, Tim Slaughter and Dustin Schilling in 2009 with a strategy to buy well located real estate assets in major Texas markets. The company focuses on office and industrial assets with strategic locations and potential upside through property improvements, additional capital, increased leasing performance and property management and customer service improvements.
Dustin oversees company leadership and strategy for Caddo. Prior to Caddo, Dustin was a vice president at Colliers International. At Colliers, he focused on the leasing and sale of urban infill properties, primarily in the Uptown and Downtown submarkets of Dallas and the downtown area of Fort Worth. Dustin holds a bachelor's degree in marketing and public relations from the University of North Texas in Denton.
Tim oversees company and property operations for Caddo. Tim has worked on urban Dallas/Fort Worth redevelopment projects throughout his career. He was influential in the development of So7 in Fort Worth, the acquisition of the Kirby Building in Downtown Dallas and $25MM in acquisitions in North Oak Cliff. Most recently Tim was the urban infill development partner at Realty Capital Corporation. Tim has substantial experience in reporting to both private and institutional equity sources. Tim earned an MBA in real estate finance from the University of Texas in Austin and an undergraduate degree in industrial distribution from Texas A&M University.
Justin oversees acquisitions and capital market activities for Caddo. Justin was previously a tenant representation and investment sales broker with Trammell Crow Company and then moved to Holliday Fenoglio Fowler where he was responsible for the underwriting, marketing and closing of commercial real estate transactions including bridge, equity, mezzanine and traditional debt placement. He maintains Caddo's lender and equity relationships while sourcing acquisition opportunities. Justin holds a BA in economics from Rice University in Houston.
Kelli oversees accounting for Caddo. She has five years’ audit experience in public accounting with big five firms. From there, Kelli went to Invesco for six years where she started as an accounting manager and left as an assistant controller. Additionally, Kelli was an assistant controller at Clarion Partners for three and a half years. Kelli has a Master’s Degree in Finance and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Texas A&M University.
